It is easy to control the pit size due to single discharge, and only the energy of a single pulse needs to be reduced. Only the single pulse energy is small to a certain extent, which causes the thick workpiece to be cut and not moving, even the short circuit is not discharged without spark. This is similar to the fine gauge in EDM, which results in the unstable machining with extremely low efficiency and poor chip discharge capacity. Besides, RZ caused by discharge pit is not in the same order of magnitude as that of commutation fringes, so it is important to control RZ with commutation fringes. The accuracy of guide wheel and bearing, the constant tension of up and down lead to the inconsistent movement track of the wire up and down, which is the main reason for the reverse convex concave. The manufacturing quality of the wire walking part is the key to the surface quality of the whole machine
