The former has high machining efficiency, machining accuracy of 0.002mm and surface roughness of ra0.4um. Generally, there are automatic multiple cutting, taper cutting, advanced automatic wiring and thread cutting, more advanced also has automatic threading, five axis linkage to achieve three-dimensional trajectory cutting control and other devices and functions of more than 40 kinds. However, the electrode wire can only be used once to maintain constant tension and speed and improve machining accuracy and working stability. The disadvantage is that most of the parts to be processed by the slow moving machine must be completely immersed in the deionized water of the working fluid, so that the wire electrode can cut the workpiece by electro etching, which makes the ultra thick and ultra stroke workpiece unable to be processed.

 

On the contrary, it is difficult to break through in the automatic wiring and cutting of wire cutting machine. However, the fast-moving wire conveying system adopts the reciprocating operation mode, so the electrode wire can be recycled and reused. Because of this and other design and construction factors, the machining accuracy, surface roughness, working stability and processing efficiency are not as good as the former. But because of this, the machining of ultra thick and ultra stroke parts is much more convenient and convenient than the former. At present, in addition to keeping straight line and two-dimensional processing, the high-speed wire feeder has been able to process up and down special-shaped and arbitrarily tapered parts with good quality and effect. If a little improvement is made, such as cam with Archimedes spiral, sinusoidal surface at the end of workpiece, spiral surface at the end of workpiece, various surface bodies and conical surfaces with constant acceleration and deceleration, and parts with high precision and high brightness can be processed by using fast wire machine, which will fully expand the application scope of WEDM. Therefore, no matter from the cost and cost performance of the equipment, reduce production costs, save raw materials, make the best use of materials, improve the maximum utilization rate of materials, and realize the maximum benefit, it is undoubtedly one of the most ideal choices.
