1.Definition of punching machine
Punching machine is also called spark piercing machine, piercing machine, small hole machine, small hole discharger. Its working principle is to use continuous vertical movement of fine copper tube (called electrode wire) as the electrode to remove metal from the workpiece by pulse spark discharge.
2.Classification of Punching machine.
The perforator equipment can be roughly divided into two kinds according to the different media used. One is liquid perforator. Because the small hole of copper rod may be blocked by the small hole of copper rod in liquid processing, the minimum hole can be machined by 0.15mm. The depth can only be processed 20 mm. It is widely used. The other is gas punching machine. The medium passing through copper rod holes is gas, so it is not easy to be blocked and can process more precise holes.
3.Structure Composition of Punching Machine
The punching machine is composed of four parts: the main drive, the front desk, the frame and the back desk to complete the punching process. The main drive is usually made up of pig motor or main electrode plus gearbox. Front-end equipment generally consists of inclined grooves, ducts and pusher. The rack includes bracing and guiding equipment (guide plate or guide plate). Background equipment mainly includes bracket, capillary return bracket, ejector trolley, thrust seat of ejector trolley and transportation equipment for transporting capillary from perforating unit to bracketing unit.
4.Main transmission mode and characteristics
The main drive motor of the perforator can use either direct current motor or alternating current motor. DC motors are usually connected directly with bracelets through transmission shafts, while AC motors are connected with bracelets through reducers and transmission shafts. The joints used in the piercing machine are universal joints and cross-head joints. The cross-head coupling has good adjusting performance, and can produce relative angular displacement in both horizontal and vertical planes.
5.Working Principle of Punching Machine
The perforator is different from WEDM machine and forming machine in that the electrodes of its electric pulse are hollow copper rods, and the medium passes through the fine holes in the middle of the holes of the copper rods, thus playing the role of cooling and debris removal. High temperature corrosion of metals produced by discharge between electrodes and metals to achieve the purpose of perforation. It is used to process fine holes of superhard steel, cemented carbide, copper, aluminium and any conductive material.
The material moves to the scanning area of the camera of the automatic punching machine. After the camera scans the image, it processes and signals the control part. After the control part receives the signal, it further processes and controls the action of the transmission part, so that the X-axis and Y-axis of the punch move on the plane, and the pneumatic part starts to work after the move is completed. The solenoid valve controls the cylinder to punch. The automatic punching machine prints the brush positioning hole, and the whole action is completed at one go. It is fast, accurate and efficient.
6.Use of Punching machine
It is used to process fine holes in superhard steel, cemented carbide, copper, aluminium and any conductive material. Minimum 0.015mm holes can be machined or tapered holes can be machined. EDM piercing machine is widely used in precision die processing. It is generally used as an auxiliary equipment of WEDM machine tools. It is used for piercing holes, chemical fiber spinnerets, spinneret holes, filter plates and screen plates in WEDM. The cooling holes of engine blades, cylinder blocks, hydraulic and pneumatic valves, oil and gas passages, etc.
