Surface grinder is widely used in machining, but in grinding, warpage may occur, so how to solve it?
1. When grinding the plate workpiece on the surface grinder, the elastic clamping device is selected to complete the positioning clamping of the plate workpiece in the free state. A layer of rubber with thickness of 0.5mm is padded between the workpiece and the magnetic worktable. When the workpiece is attracted by the magnetic force, the rubber is compressed, the elastic deformation becomes smaller, and the plane of the workpiece is ground. Repeated grinding can meet the requirements of machining accuracy.
2. Epoxy resin adhesive is used to paste the plate workpiece to the plate in free state. The plate is placed on the magnetic sucker together with the sheet. After grinding one end of the plate, take the plate workpiece off the plate, put the grinding side on the magnetic chuck, and then grind the other end of the plate. Due to the fluidity of epoxy resin before hardening, it can fill the gap between plates. After the epoxy resin is hardened, the workpiece and the flat plate are combined into a whole, thus greatly improving the rigidity of the workpiece. Under the action of magnetic force, the sheet workpiece will not be clamped and deformed, so that the surface grinding becomes clear. Thick grease can also be used instead of epoxy resin to fill the gap between the plate workpiece and the magnetic chuck, so as to improve the rigidity of the workpiece and achieve excellent results.
3. The flat tongs in the accessories of the surface grinder use the magnetic worktable to absorb the thin parts. Because the flat pliers have a certain height, the magnetic force on the jaw is very small. Select the method of gradually reducing the feed speed, grind a plane of the plate workpiece, and then remove it. At this time, place the grounding plate on the magnetic operation platform_ Then grind another plane of the plate workpiece and repeat grinding several times. The flatness of the two planes met the requirements.
